Important update. 2025 and beyond

Business update

Dear friends,

It’s been a wonderful season growth for the business and being able to serve you in your homes is a great privilege for our team to be able to do each month.

I wish to share some news with you that most of you are aware, but as we look to 2025 what will be changing for us.

As many of you know we lost our son Michael is a tragic accident in the early part of October, we were in the midst of growing as a business and Michael was instrumental in working with me to launch the business in early 2024. He loved visiting your home and seeing the big impact we could have in just an hour or two, depending on how long your grass was. We started with our first client on the north side and by October had served over 150 different homes through southern and western Brisbane in seeing their yard and homes improved, tidied, mowed, cut back and I dont know how many trips to the rubbish tip, but he loved the challenged and together we were running well.

With his passing, this has impacted our entire family as you can imagine and we have had so much support from many of you as we visited your homes over the past few weeks, your tears, prayers and words of hope have encouraged us everyday.

What will we be doing from here is a question I’ve been asked a numerous times, and my wife and I, with other other two children (Emily and Elijah) have decided that we will sell the business and move into some new areas and developing the legacy of Michael’s life and the story of overcoming mental and physical health challenges and seeing the hope for many more young people that struggled with the same battle.

What does this mean for you?

We will not be taking on any new or large projects on at the moment, and we will be looking for operators out there in order to help hand over smoothly to them where possible. We will be working through Christmas and January if needed. If we have not transistioned by the end of December we just slowly withdraw our services and help make sure you are covered throughout this time.

We are so grateful for your support of our business over the 2024 and this is not how we saw it heading, but have made the decision to move forward through this change in our life.
